The Coordination and Action Roundtable for Water Access and Management in the Chaco of Salta, Argentina, is a space for inter-institutional coordination in which the various local actors, linked to the problem of safe water supply, analyze, debate, propose and collectively decide on public policy initiatives aimed at solving this problem, also getting involved in the implementation and monitoring of the selected solutions.
The Water Roundtable has as one of its main inspirations the experience of the Brazilian Semi-arid Articulation (ASA) and in recent years it has spread to neighboring countries. Today there are 4 water roundtables: in Castelli, province of Chaco Argentina, in Irala Fernández, Paraguay and in Villamontes, Bolivia.
