Based on a feminist understanding of women, semi-arid regions, and climate-resilient agricultural technologies, the video shows the construction of the Água Viva technology by women farmers from the Palmares Community, in the municipality of Apodi, Rio Grande do Norte.
The Água Viva water reuse system is a system that consists of reusing water used in domestic activities for agroecological production. Thus, all the water generated by washing dishes, bathing, washing clothes that was previously thrown away and wasted in the yards, now gains a second use with this “Agua Viva” technology.
