The Degraded Areas Recovery Unit (URAD) is a pilot initiative that involves different entities in favor of an agenda for the implementation of social technologies for environmental preservation, water and soil management, in places with a high rate of degradation.
The Model Settlement, in the municipality of Canindé de São Francisco, Alto Sertão Sergipano, is a positive experience in the recovery of degraded areas, coexistence with the semi-arid region and combating climate change.
