The objective of the Nanum, Connected Women project –which began to be implemented in May 2020- is to promote the role of women as agents of change in the access and adoption of rural connectivity and innovation applied to the development of productive organizations.
This trinational initiative seeks to facilitate interconnection for 40 communities that are isolated through home connectivity for 5,000 homes – directly with 5,000 women belonging to different indigenous and rural communities. Likewise, the creation of 40 women’s companies that will provide internet service to their communities will be promoted, and 1,000 loans will be granted for the use of innovative payment solutions.
